OUR MISSION
The Washington DC Metropolitan Alumni Chapter provides a medium through which the alumni and friends of Alabama A&M University work together to advance the growth and development of the university. We assist the University by engaging in activities that provide greater visibility, recruitment of students, promotion of public and private support and fostering the progression of alumnus.
ALABAMA A&M WASHINGTON DC METROPOLITIAN AREA ALUMNI ASSOCIATION ALUMNI CHAPTER SCHOLARSHIPS
The Washington, DC Metropolitan Alumni Chapter honors commitment to education by sponsoring an annual Academic Scholarship to support students from the DC Metropolitan area that will attend Alabama A&M University. The Scholarship is primarily based on scholarship merit, financial need and evidence of leadership.

We continue to donate, annually, to increase the amount of financial support we can give to the students. Thank you to corporate and personal sponsors during the 2024 Annual Golf Tournament to raise scholarship funds. Tax deductible donations may be made towards the university throughout the year.
